I looked around briefly, but didn't seem to find this simple hack. Basically what I'm looking for is the ability to set a minimum post count in order to post in a specific forum. For example, I have a Contests forum where only the people that have 10 posts and above should be able to post. vBulletin doesn't have this option by default. Did I miss this hack somehow and it DOES exist? If not, would anyone be willing to make this?

this is gonna sound complicated but it will give you an idea of what to look for (or ask)
You can create a new usergroup (USERGROUP B) and posting permissions to YES. While other usergroups (USERGROUP A) you set the posting permissions to NO.

you can then create a PROMOTION .. to promote any users in USERGROUP A to USERGROUP B if postcount >= xxx

I cant look for it at the moment but there was such a hack for 3.5 which may work for 3.6.

Hm... this makes sense. Only the problem is that I would need to create a new user group just to get that to work. It's kind of inefficient in my opinion and wouldn't work with the user group system that I have setup (though maybe). Thanks anyway.
