Review my new webmaster forum with a custom skin

I recently launched this new webmaster forum (http://www.webmasterground.com). Please let me know what you think about the skin and layout of the forum.
Do you find it appealing?
Do you have any suggestions to improve the look of the forum?

The header/logo area needs some work and the forum icons look like paw prints. In general though, nice neutral color scheme, layout looks good, nice touch with the side-bar, easy on the eyes.

I have added a new logo there. I hope it makes the forum more attractive now.
I am also working on adding new forum icons soon.

Er.. remove the sidebar. That just squishes everything together. Blend the ads into the threads/posts/forums don't slap them onto the side in everyone's face.

It's a webmaster board, we're all aware of ads and usually don't click on them. Blend them better!

I like the colors .. good spacing throughout the site.
Too much space around the google ads (side column).
Also, no (or little) contrast available in navbar.

I made the colors a little lighter.
I will change the navbar to add more contrast. Thanks for the suggestion.
