When I released the code, it was for vBulletin 3.6.5 version.

I had this happen to me today but it turned out I was working on a hack and I added something to a plugin that it vb didn't like. Once I disabled that plugin the microstats showed back up.

Spikes are normal to display, only if the server is not tuned properly. That should be a warning for you, so you look at your logs for possible errors. Where do you run 22 queries, on the forumhome? There is definitely something bad installed. By default vBulletin uses 9 queries on the home page. Personally, I run the forum frontpage on 3 queries and I complain that is to high, I expect to lower it to 2 soon. :)

The percentage looks great, 75% PHP and 25% MySQL is the right balance. However, you have to remove the armada of queries you currently perform on the forumhome, really important for your server performance.

In this way we avoid to hijack the discussion here. Many users are familiar with my mod and they will tell you straightaway where the extra queries are coming from. A hint: The stats them selfs generate a huge number of queries.

I sent the 10th line of the hack to 3.7.1;)

I then made a bobo with 'else' written twice when I did a copy and paste in the init.php file.:erm:
However, I kept the old files so I could revert whilst I worked out the problem (a good safety precaution).:cool:

There is no problem whatsoever with the hack, you just have to follow all the advices, like enabling it in CP and making the right coding changes to the files. One does need to concentrate to avoid silly mistakes, but apart from that the hack works perfectly in the 3.7 environment.

I went over the code for this with a fine tooth three times, I've uploaded the plugin, enabled it in the manager, and turned it on in the vB Options. I've tried the template code in several places, and no matter what I do.. I've done everything I could.. and it JUST DOESN'T SHOW UP. T_T

Dorigan did you change the range of vB in line 10 of product-vbmicrostats.xml file to read "3.6.9"

Billy to upload, you need to go to the click down of 'plugins and products' then click on 'manage products' at the bottom of the screen you will see 'add/import product'. Click on that and then upload the xml file from your computer. :)

It'll stay installed, and the settings will stay the same.
However you still 'll need to redo your file/template edits.
