When you create styles that you release here for others to use, are you supposed to only base them off the default template? I'm assuming you shouldn't create a style on a board with a lot of mods and export it?

Is there a guide of standards for style creation?

yes basically you need to base it off the original template. But if you have done some custom modifications that go aloing with the template you can also add additional files.

Adding mod specific templates or code might (and most likely will) cause problems for users who don't have those mods installed, so better remove all extra code and templates.
