Fake email ...?

Hi all ,

How can I prevent some one used fake email to register my site ? I had some one keep register their nick at my site ,but they not activate their nick ...their purpose is to show the new nick ( they used bad language new nick) on the forum welcome new member .

Make them confirm there email, there for they can post untill then
