This is a simple plug-in that lets you require all new threads have post icons set. This is useful for those forums who use post icons to provide more information about topics. Each forum can have it turned on/off. You can change the setting by simply editing a forum and then scrolling to the bottom and changing the "Require post icon" option.
You're free to do what you like with this code, although credit is appreciated, it's not required.

thanks.. is there away to set a specific forum to display only the post icons you want for that forum, for example you have the standard VB icons, but lets say you add some to it that you want to display but you dont want to deisplay the standard post icons.
Thanks.

There is another plug-in that lets you do that yes, I'll find it.
Here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=110093&highlight=group+post+icon) you go. If it doesn't work on 3.6, tell me and I'll see if I can get permission to port it.

Very cool, I combined this mod with the Filter Threads By Post Icon (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=123339) mod and am happy with the results. Thanks!

Works on 3.8.7 PL3! One thing though, if we require a post icon. Why leave the no icon radio button there? Just a thought. Thank you for sharing this! :)
