Hello,

I run a website and forum for cricket discussion, including cricket computer games. I'm about to hold a competition to win a cricket management game for free (RRP £19.99).

I know there's a fair bit of off topic discussion as it is but I'm claming down on that and I would appreciate any comments.

The logo does not sit well with me. It may just be that there is nothing on the left side and it makes the forum seem unbalanced..not quite sure but it just does not look right the way it is. Try adding something over on the right, possibly move one or two of the athlete's over, I think it will be an improvement.

The front page feels very stock. The right column is wasted with just one block, and the block only having 1 link. Ether populate this area more or move it to the nav bar and free up the space. This may be a good spot for some ads as well.

There is a broken image on the front page in one of the news articles...(http://www.cricketopinion.co.uk/cricketopinionsignature.png) . I had issues with vBadvanced not putting in the correct path for news posts....ended up not using images for news to get around it. I do not know if this is the same issue or now.

Your login box has some code showing above it

id="navbar_password" size="10" tabindex="102" />
[/code]

The forum is almost totally stock, with no customisation to icons. The buttons look nice, but blend too much into the white background. A slight gradient on the buttons would make them pop out more, and using the colors there as forum icons would really pull the site look together.

You have a lot of forums for your current traffic. Consolidate similar topics until you get more content, then expand as the community grows.

You have a good start so far, keep it up :)

The code above the log in box has been removed.

Also the front page has been removed, nobody looks at it. When you go to the site you will go straight to the forums index.
