Display large video within forum frame (instead of within posts)

I am keen to go cherry pick selected YouTube videos and also syndicate video content from other related sites (with their permission and co-operation)

What I want to do is - once a link to them is clicked on.. Display them as large as possible within the VBulletin frame. So, Not in a post window, not in a thread

But like this:

Forums LOGO Forum header ......................... Banner ad zone

User CP Help Chat Members List New Posts Quick Links Log Out


Video plays here in large area between header & footer of forum frame, hopefully expanded to edge of frame so it can be large

The videos are just there to be looked at - no 'replies' are nessesary or offered.

i just need forum navigation tools, forum logo & banner zone (embedded in header anyway)

Got any ideas how I can do this?

i think I figured it out - making it a catagory and pasting the YouTube code in the description area.. seems to work!
Any other ideas on how to make this more elegant - please let me know!

Yes now may only issue is how to manage a lot of catagories, their titles and how that looks on the foum lists..
