Looking for a mod for VB that will allow me to insert VBulletin info (such as recent posts, etc) on my Vivvo homepage.

You can try including global.php and then using a query. This will also make it so that users banned from your forum are banned from your site as well, etc.

I just found Vivvo ... what a great First Page. The peppy AJAX is very nice.
http://www.myvivvo.com - demo site.
http://www.vivvo.net/ - the company's site.
It would be great to combine Vivvo and vBulletin.

Speak and Ye Shall be heard ! Found this today ... to my great surprise. I think it was posted TODAY !!
What's New in Vivvo CMS 3.5
Vivvo 3.5 contains new features and enhancements developed in the last three months. Among series of enhancements and mostly security improvements in the new version, two key improvements are vBulletin integration, and support for Mobile/PDA devices. And to spice things up a little bit, we now offer TWO templates with each purchased license. Not only that, realising the importance of Search Engine placement for our customers, Sitemap/Google Sitemap Plug-in is how being shipped for FREE with the bundle. Make the most of it :)
As always - whole set of usability improvements has been made thanks to the valuable feedback from our community. Great deal of attention has been paid to Comments Management as we introduced a series of improvements like bad words filter; moderated comments; allowing comments only from registered members; and easier interface with mass edit options. One minor (but important) feature we'd like to emphasize is a ability to set custom path (URL) for site Administration - now you won't have to worry about someone trying to use brute force against your website administration.
Thank you all for your support, and keep up with good suggestions!
New features and important upgrades that Vivvo CMS 3.5 brings are:

Anyone using Vivvo? I need some of those features for a better homepage, news, articles, video, etc. But I don't need a headache.

I use Vivvo here: http://hypography.com/index.php
We use a different page for our homepage so the Vivvo page is no longer updated apart from the forum feeds. It worked out to be easier to use vB for all our needs instead. :)
Vivvo is capable but the vB integration wasn't strong enough for us and needed major hacking.

Hi, what do you mean the vB integration wasn't strong enough?

The login functions, for example - we constantly had problems with people being logged out of the news section even though they were still logged into the forums.
The discussion thread thingy where a thread is started in the forums - this is not secure enough, so that we had some 2,800 threads started by robots.
Vivvo is a *great* CMS for the money. But it's a bit buggy and requires you to learn yet another templating system in addition to the vB one.

I certainly haven't had such problems on the site - and, 2,800 threads started by robots - you allow guests to post content, aka articles?

No, the threads were created by robots who hit the "discuss this" link in Vivvo (which creates a new thread in the forum). Guests are not allowed to post.
I spent about a week, full-time, fitting Vivvo to vBulletin. It's the only CMS which comes close to work with vB, but it's not quite there yet.
