Hello,

I am considering the purchase of vBulletin and I have a couple questions. I am going to be creating a podcast, and it just came to my attention that vB 3.6 has podcasting built right in. Are there any mods that might enhance this podcasting ability, or can anyone here shed some light on this feature?

Secondly, this is a bit off topic, but one of the reasons I am hesitant to buy vB is because this is a brand new site, without any userbase. My friend and I are starting from scratch, and I'd just hate to spend $160 and end up with a dead site. I know this is a bit of a personal problem, but can anyone possibily offer any sort of wisdom or advice that would make vB a worthy purchase? Is it possible to sell the license should I find my website fail?

Thank you.

What is life without risk? If you dare to dream big, then you have to build the foundation for success and $160 for a professional grade forum package is a small expense in the scheme of things.

If you buy an owned license, you can - with jelsofts approval - resell it should your site not pan out. I like to think that you will find other uses for it yourself.

I really like the way you put that. Especially since I can always fall back on selling the license. I've wanted vB for my websites (as ive tried to get em' going) for years, I was just too young and didn't have the money to do it.

My friend and I really do want to get a userbase for this. He doesn't see the need for a forum but I've administrated and been to enough websites to know that the users like having an outlet for discussion, especially in the field that this website is going.

Thanks for your input.

Anyone that knows about how the Podcast support works in vB and would like to share it, I'd really appriciate it. When I tried to link to the podcast I created in the admin demo it didn't seem to work right, but I figured that was because it was a demo on a locked and secured server.
