I would like a mod so that when someone is in your ignore list then threads you create are not only inaccessible to the ignored user but invisible. They just have no idea it's even there. This would suit a well behaved community with the occasional jerk who does a bit of trolling. I've had numerous requests for this. If a member is always stalked in his threads by trolls he should have the option to block them. Some may say just remove the trolls, well it's not that simple.. often trolls are experts at skirting the line, sly innuendo etc. If a member is finally fedup with someone posting in their threads I say give them the power to block..

yep but that kind of option can be abused as well.Say someone dont like someone then what is to stop them from blocking them just for the sake of it.

Urmm... Tachy Goes To Coventry is the one to use here surely? All members will basically not see any of the posts made by the undesirable/troll but the undesirable/troll can still see everything, therefore there is no indication that anything is wrong.
There's always the IGNORE list, which is the one option that the affected user has full control over. This latter option does allow the affected user to view the posts of the one being ignoired, but only by clicking a 'View Post' link.
Personally, I think that a combination of Ignore and TGTC is hugely efficient. Plus Miserable Users too... just for good measure down the line.
