Moving from phpBB to vBulletin

Recently the company I work for purchased a site that has a custom CMS for posting articles alongside phpBB. The forums were being flooded with spam and I need to clean it up. My first order of business is moving the forums over to vBulletin (which is done). Now I'm trying to find out how I can transfer the logins from phpBB used for the CMS over to vB.

They have a single-signon currently, but I'm not sure how to change it over. I've checked out some of the mods and such available, but none seem to do what I need. Any help would be appreciated.

If u look for mods, then its only possible: first install vBulletin2, then convert phpBB2->vBulletin2 and then upgrade vB2->vB3. But thats only what dumb peoples do. ;)
