Your front page is generic but it's clean and the color scheme nicely done.
The layout on your forums need a little work. I think the images for your category header should match your forum icons. Your forum icons appear to be rounded but your category header image is flat. Your forum icon that represents a link needs to be replaced. Maybe altering this image (http://www.tiberium-twilight.net/forum/images/statusicon/forum_old.gif) and adding an arrow to it.
You should rewrite your welcome message to explain what your site is about.

None of the images on the front page are loading for me right now :(. May be an issue with the firewall here at work. It appears to be quite small, more of a door page with some basic info than anything else.

harmor19's suggestions are right on the money. In addition the general forum has an "out of the box" feel. Work to customise it to your community, make it stand out from others.

I have had people complain about fixed width layouts in the past. There is never a happy medium, but if you can offer bother a variable and fixed skin it helps.

I think you are bordering on having too many forums for your current traffic. Some can be moved to the bottom or hidden (ie, trash). Condensing the forums will focus your content and activity and help to draw in more members.
