The logo is simple, almost too simple. Another image or two would be nice, and lighten up the images a bit to make them stand out on the red background.
You have a lot at the top of your forum, and it pushes the actual content out of sight. I am not a big fan of shout boxes so I would say drop that, lose the scrolling message, and remove the image from the guest welcome message. The image is nice, but it is a bit redundant with the text you have there, it takes up too much space, and does not help with search engines.
There are a lot of forums that could be combined or removed. The Graveyard should not be visible, or should not even be there in favor of the soft-delete feature in vB. Rules could be put into the FAQ system, or combined into announcements. The Newbie forum does not fit with the topic of the site at all..it may be better as a simple welcome and introduction forum.
Many of the other forums could be combined, probably with good results. I really do not want to have to jump forums every time I want to talk about a different character.
The Off-Topic stuff should be dropped, it is moving focus off the show, and that is where you want to develop the bulk of your content.
The forum Icons should be customised to fit with the site theme more. Right now they look very default.
I am sorry to hear about having to restart the community. That can be very discouraging, especially after investing so much time into a site. I think you are on a great track to get things back to where they were and beyond. :)
