Hello Friends,

Reading posts from my other mods, I want to make clear something very important. Yes, this module (as all the others) is supporting. But only in my site and only in the forum bellow:

Why? The reason is simple. Actually it's a simple calculation. Till now I've post 4 mods, plus 2 that I'll post next week is a total of 6 mods. I'm posting my mods in 4 different sites, plus in my site is a total of 5 sites. A simple calculation gives a result of 30 different forums. If you add PMs in these 5 sites the total grows up to 35 places. Sorry, but:

Being in my 51st year of my age, I don't have the courage to move in so many different places
It's frustating to reply 5 times in the same questions. Believe me, the same question that you ask here, someone else asks in another site


So, I'll appreciate your understanding and follow the link above for support.

NICE! It's been a long time since a simple hack like this developed. But is it possible to create a vbAdvanced CMPS module for it? Also is it possible to have an option to enable a custom amount a person can donate?

And im not sure if it's a bug but when i turned off the States and Country in the admin area, it still shows up in the donation page.

ok a few things I seen is that it dont look to well in firefox for example look at the photo upload part the browse button is stretched out way to far and if you make the right column bigger it dont look well. also united states is spelled wrong in the countrys and one last thing you say this version dont have Instant Payment Notification (IPN) but wouldnt paypal email you anyway once they send a donation? lastly is maybe make it valid html

also if you wish you can edit my donation module around so that you can have a module for vbadvanced.

As you know it's impossible to check something in all possible combinations hardware/server type/browser. I marked it for the next update, at least to place button under the input box.

Sorry but I got the lists (countries and states) from the market. I'll check it correct.

and one last thing you say this version dont have Instant Payment Notification (IPN) but wouldnt paypal email you anyway once they send a donation?

In admin section there is an option "Uncleared Donations". This is a list of all donations awaiting validation. When you'll receive the email from PayPal, you can manually activate that donation.

I'll appreciate a lot if you spend some of your time to rate my module, as it seems that some "know-unknow" members out there, even in 21th century, can't accept the fact that a woman, even 51 years old, can develope modules. I never said that I'm developing the "killer mods" but for sure I'm not developing bad modules as some members out there want to show. I bet that they don't even downloaded my module.

Hey people, cut Maria some slack - she may be a bit defensive with her code, but show me a developer that's not. Maria does great work and usually has a fix in-place soon after a bug or anomaly has been identified. Maria also answers 99% of the questions asked of her on her website, and is very receptive to your ideas.

There are 2 reasons that drived me to get this decision (to upload photo instead using profile phoro or avatar)

I believe that letting the donor to decide if he'll put something there and what he'll put, is much better than let admin to decide to use avatar or not.
Memory overload. Adding avatar needs a query, adding profile's photo needs 2 queries. Why to overload the system without special reason?

Curency list
States
Countriesby editing with a text editor the corresponding file at vbdonator/includes/
