I have a Christian message board that I have been working on now for 2 months. I have a sponsor ad at yahoo, google, and msn trying to get some people interested. So far, I am out a lot of money and not got to many members. I do not know if it is the look of the site or the content of the site that causes the membership to be low. Maybe I am to impatient? Would some of you please review my site and give me some feedback?

I have been looking into the styles section of this board. I will try and pick some to add to my selection.
The reason I ask about this is the report I have shows that msn has 92 click throughs; google has 108 click throughs; yahoo has 162 click throughs, with 80% of all click throughs staying on the board less than 30 seconds.
I was not sure if that was because my board was ugly or people just make it their mission each day to click through to cost that person [the owner of the ad] money out of spite? I do not know how you can judge a message board in 30 seconds or less.

The board is definitely not ugly, but there is very little to make it stand out from others, or even a standard vBulletin install. I think the number of forums you have is good for now. You should focus on getting a unique look for the site, a new style..possible a new logo as well.
It is a good start, keep at it :)
What does drag racing have to do with religion?
Right now what I see is the default vbulletin skin with a shitty header. Have someone redesign the skin, even if you have to pay them. As far as members go, I would suggest advertising in your neighborhood churches.

OK, I have worked on the apperance of the board. Would you all mind taking a peek at it again and let me know what your first impressions are now? Thanks for your honest replies.
