Image attachments not working

I am having trouble with my images not showing up when I attach them to a post. The zip and other types of attachments that are not images work fine, its just the images that don't show up. I don't get any errors when uploading them just when I try to click on the image to view it it just gives me the link to the image and doesn't display it. it doesn't even show a thumbnail image.

got a link to a post that you added say a *.jpg attachment to?
what are your attachment settings in your admin panel?

Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Attachment Thumbnails

Did that and it did not work. I will upload an attachment and let you all see what it does. Sorry for not having one sooner just I didn't have an open forum for guests at the time.

Also I forgot to mention that this has been happening ever since I reinstalled the forums. It was originally working then all of the sudden it stopped working.

No one has had a chance to take a look at this???
