We'd like to use ClipShare video on our charity's site, but we have a 7,500 member forum and would like ClipShare to use the same userbase.
I've contacted ClipShare and got the following reply:
Unfortunately we are too usy right now with other projects development and we are not available for custom work. We provide full source code for the script so it can be easily integrated/customized. We recommend you to get a programmer from www.scriptlance.com for that work.
Any idea what would be the best way (scriptlane or any other) to get such a mod build and how much it should cost.
Thanks
Stuart

Did you ever find a solution?

I'm working with someone for the solution now! He has already done it for another site.
If you want contact info, please let me know.

Hi,
We didn't get the amount of interest required to develop the module, however, if you wish to have someone custom build it, I know a coder that can integrate it for around $300 if you are interested.

$300 is kinda high, but it is a lot of work to do a bridge between the 2. The person I'm working with is charging $200.

As I posted on the other thread. If you want to build a solid community it is worth paying for quality coding. I've tried to run a large vbulletin site with subpar coding for the addons. It's more hassle than it is worth!

does that include the addon to the forum where it shows videos on the forum?

With 6 Steps, less than 5 minuets you can intergrate all your vbulletins users to your fresh install clipshare videos site.
this will automatically redirect users to sign up page used when users sign up through vbulletin , so all new users will go through vbulletings security when signing up.
all users will have same security as used by vbulletin (the best security against spam and hackers)
if user banned on vbulletin, also will be banned on clipshare
so same permissions for both scripts
6 easy steps, uploading of files via FTP to your server and editing 1 or 2 files and thats it, then run the install file and in less than 1 minutes you will have all your users from vbulletin be used on clpshare.
user navigating through vbulletin and clipshare will stay logged in! if logs out of either site, user becomes logged out of both sites!
all files and instructions included.
this is to be done on a new copy of clipshare.
I accept payment via paypal , once payment is made i will email you a zipped copy of all the files and instructions.
price: $25
PM me for paypal address for payment and to view a demo site that i have installed this on
or you can just wait for this. Who needs clipshare :)
