Hi, i recently bought Vbulletin for my website.
But when i tried to install the product for the website, it wont let
me install it, it keep saying "No file uploaded and no local file
found."

Do you have any clue to why this is happening? Is it because of my host?
Thanks alot.

How are you trying to import the product: by browsing your computer for the XML file or by FTPing the XML file and using a link?

by browsing your computer for the XML file

Check with your host about whether the 'upload_tmp_dir' temp directory is set, has space, and is writable. For the time being, FTP the XML product file into your /forum/includes/xml directory and try the XML link import instead, using the following in the text box:

./includes/xml/product_filename.xml

If you have an 'open_basedir' restriction in effect, see this (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1099426&postcount=4) post.

This has come up several times on vBcom. An 'open_basedir' restriction may be in effect, the 'upload_tmp_dir' temp directory might not be set, might not have space, might not be writable, etcetera. Check here (http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3A.vbulletin.com+%22No+file+uploaded +and+no+local+file%22) for some more ideas.
