What does it? : you can/must edit your daily horoscopes every days via admincp > Horoscopes > Horoscopes Manager :)

-version 1.5: (whats new in this version):
-- Postbit and Profile Horoscope Sign View : calculate which your user is by their birthday and bold their sign view
---fully phrased ;)

Instructions: Upload all files into forum folder and import product-horoscopes.xml via Product/Plugin Manager :)


Open Your Postbit_Legacy Template And Search For This Code

This hack is great and like the other posts, a daily or monthly pull from a good astrology source would make this a fantastic modification. As Ricsca has already mentioned - adding the ability to restrict this to usergroups would make it even better.

A possible MOTM if it had these options.

I'm really looking forward to future updates.

If you cant manage to get auto feeds, then maybe instead of having it in the admincp, have it somewhere else, so then a designated usergroup can login and update it, as im sure most admins are too busy, however I could make a new usergroup to handle the updating of this daily if it wasn't in in the admincp

I don't have a need for this hack, but maybe the above suggestion could benefit others. nice work so far tho.

The Author of this hack made a little spelling mistake in the product , we installed this plugin and wondered why every sagittarius wasnt showing up in the post bit all the others were working so here is the code fix for people that want it to show up need to know.

... as i see it now, only Administrator with Settings changes permissions are able to make changes to horoscopes (add\delete them etc).

Make sure you upload all the files correctly, namely the xml file for the cp_nav and make sure the chmod permissions on the file are correct.

I am having a problem getting sagittarius to show, I have done as said above and reuploaded the xml file but sagittarius is still not showing, any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,

As an Astrology Researcher and the owner of a popular astrology-related website, I understand Hasann's and Mr_Snob's challenge to find rights-free, quality daily horoscopes to bring to the table.

Since I feel that this hack is almost impossible to handle with daily manual updates, yet once a solution is found, it is sure to become a great magnet for repeat visits - I'm willing to write (together with my staff) the daily feeds. The feeds will be structured according to the instructions that I'll be getting from the programmers.

However, there are two conditions:

a) The script must allow for group permissions. On my forum, only members should be allowed to access the daily horoscopes.

b) The text should include a credit box. I.E. I would like to include a reference to my website(s): either Relationships Analyst (http://www.topsynergy.com/) or Relationships Forums (http://www.topsynergy.net/). That will be our reward for providing and serving the feeds.
