Hi, just had this reported, someone taking part in a tourney made a high score which then wasn't saved in the high score table for that game.

This is correct, only the "best result ever" can change while playing a tournament ...

That's what I mean - someone scored the highest score ever and it didn't save.

Anyway, why shouldn't a personal best in a tourney get saved? Otherwise the listed personal best isn't a personal best!

It is that way because a torunament-match is not concidered as a normal game, but as a faceoff, a match. But I will write this onto my wishlist that tournament-games do also count for personal best ect.

This is a bug in the Arcade script. Just look at this forum and you will see many ppl having problems with high scores being recorded.

Yeah, but a 'personal best' should still count as otherwise, what's the point of a personal best if you have scored higher in a tourney match, but it wasn't counted? Kinda defeats the point a bit, doesn't it!? lol

again:
This is correct, only the "best result ever" can change while playing a tournament ...Tournament-Games do not affect "personal best" and "highscore", and this is not a bug, but "working as designed"

That's my point, the design is wrong! What's the point of personal bests and highscores if they don't reflect the real high scores and personal bests. Just because its a tournament game it shouldn't ignore them.
