pop3 emails converted to thread / post

It would be neat if pop3 email from a specified account could be converted to threads / posts -- say in a forum just for mods.

I'm thinking of the official forum email account, for example (which gets replies to registration rejections, birthdays, misc contacts, etc).

If mods could see them in a mod section, that could take a load of the admin.

Theres a VBmail reply thread for 3.0.x that used to allow replys to posts by e-mail - im sure something like that could be edited if you were handy enough with php.
