looks nice, but... i always thought a domain should have some relevance as to what the site is. how does trickfly mean anything in regards to a webmaster marketplace? also, you seems to have a lot of ads and stuff all of your forum which can turn a lot of newbies away, it did to me. one look at all those ads right up front and i have no interest in the place.

Which ads are you reffering to ? on the forum home page or on the showthread page ?

I also have the feeling that something it's not right. I think you need the table borders: make them visible by putting a colour in them, not leaving them white. You need some more colour. The gree to black idea is nice, but you need to work it a bit more. The gradients need to have less contrast (white and a light grey or 2 shads of green, white to green is not such a good idea)

Shall I increase the contrast on the header to make it look more darker so it stands out

You need to solve the layout issues first. I have the "broken tables feeling" when looking at the site. If you're too much into the changes, maybe it's a good idea to reinstate the default theme and start working from there. The black and green are a bit tiresome and you need to find the balance for them. All the borders should be visible. Maybe a lighter gray and not black, but white is not a good option since it's impossible to see the elements as they are.

Is the menu: domains for sale Site for sale etc....

Not too bad. If you add some padding in the tables (3-5pixels), bring the width down to 95% or so, change the black headers to dark gray (#212121 maybe), and make the font size uniform throughout the page it will be much better.
