How can I have users embed attached images?

I would like my forum to work so that a user can upload an image and have it show full size in their post, rather than have a thumbnail attachment surrounded by that funky line. Is there a way to do that without modifying the vB files? If not, how can I accomplish this.

Just make the thumbnail size something like 500 x 800 - if its smaller it will show up smaller - if its bigger - well - you probably dont want it bigger anyway and they can still click on it to see the full size image
