At the top of my forums home page I have the vbulletin logo that links to my home page, but I would like to put a logo for my website there instead and I don't know how to do this, any help would be appreciated.

Also when you link to my website you have to go to www.hattiesburgforums.com/forums and I would like to make it just the www.hattiesburgforums.com and I was told using the VBadvanced that I could do this but I have no idea how to do this, if you have any info to help me here as well I would appreciate it greatly!!

NEWB NEEDS HELP!!!:)

Make new logo by this name vbulletin3_logo_white.gif and upload it in www. yourdomain .com/forums/images/misc/

when you link to my website you have to go to www. yourdomain .com/forums/ and I would like to make it just the www. yourdomain .com/

Goto Admincp >> Vbulletin Options > General Settings
Change whatever you want to do :)

Ok thanks for the comments but I am still confused. When I make a logo and have an html code for it how and where do I use it to make it display correctly on the forums header? Do I need to edit a template to make this work correctly?

And on the other issue I went into the General Settings area and there is nothing there that pertains to setting the home page address....

.....sorry for the confusion, and again thanks for the help.

Well I figured out how to place the name in the header now if I can just figure out the other issue.....

You have to edit "header" template to make your logo correctly :)

Yeah I got that one, the problem that I am still having is the ability to make my forums viewable from www.hattiesburgforums.com and not www.hattiesburgforums.com/forums Not that I really mind the way that it is but to be able to grow my site I need to make it as simple and easy to remember as possible and for someone to have to remember to add the /forums to it just makes it that much harder!!

Any help would again be appreciated.

Here are some steps to choice :)
1) Make index page to link to www.hattiesburgforums.com/forums
2) Redirect your domain to www.hattiesburgforums.com/forums
3) Move your forums all files to main directory (in public_html)
