Hi, I have about 360 users in the "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" user group, most are spammers who did not complete registration. I'd like to delete them but I can find a way to do it en mass. Ie- Delete all the users at once as opposed to having to do it one at a time (very time consuming for 360!).
Can I delete them all at once? If so, how?
Regards
Steve

Yes, you can delete. Upload the attachment to your forum home directory or admincp directory.
And go ahead http://www.yourdomain.com/rmactivation.php or http://www.yourdomain.com/admincp/rmactivation.php
Let me know if you face any problem.
Your sincerely.

To note you need to put your VB DB info in the rmactivation.php file and it works like a champ :)

Haha, yes, you need to change the database name and username and password. And also don't forget to change the table name to yourprefix_user
I hope it worked.

From the sidebar in the Admin CP, if you scroll down to Users (beneath attachments but above usergroups), there is a option called Prune / Move Users.
If you click on that, the screen allows you to select all users with filtering by:
Usergroup
Has not logged on for x days
Join Date is Before
Posts is less than #
It then gives you a list of all the users and each name has a checkbox that is already checked off. You can uncheck specific names or leave them all checked and at the bottom of the list, it allows you to either move the checked users to a usergroup or delete them.

Excellent, I guessed there was a method in the system to do it, just couldn't find it. many thanks.
