Newb question about skin usage

Im setting up a subscription based forum and would like to use a style that I saw on the style forum. Can I use the styles on this forum even if my site will have subscriptions

I dont see why adding a style would effect subscriptions, In fact I run 5 different styles & have no problems getting subscriptions..

I wasnt sure if the skins had any royalties attached to them if used for a for-profit site
