Hiding a user's title and rank image by a profile option?

Hey, my users want to be able to hide their own titles and rank images to other members based on a profile option. Any ideas?

I've seen this done on another forum, so I'm wondering how it can be done. I personally can't see any way of hiding a specific user's title, but I figured you guys know more than me.

Any help is appreciated. :)
