Jabber Integration

Adds Jabber to the Instant Messenger list.

Install instructions

1) Upload im_jabber.gif to image/misc

2) Login into your AdminCP

3) Go to Plugins & Products, Manage Products, Add/Import Product

4) Import Product: Choose jabber.xml and press Import

5) Go to Styles & Templates, Style Manager and do the 5 Template
edits

I installed it just like described, and it's working so far. The only problem I have is that the jabber-info isn't displayed in the MEMBERINFO-page, although I did the modification there.

Sorry, seems like it was my fault. I tried it again and it's working now. Great mod!

Pretty good, but you should add the feature so that it is editable from the admin CP.

If not then instruction is wrong. in 3.5 there is no 'headerinclude' template - there is a 'header' tempalte. And 'header' templaate doesn't contains:

You just change version number inside xml file, rightYes. I dont have a option to evaluate the plugin with vB 3.5 but the addon is nothing special so it should work with vB 3.5 too and the template changes should be similar.

This is a very nice add on, but how is this (adding a Jabber link/button) a vbulletin - Jabber integration? PHPBB3 has Jabber integration, where notifications of new posts, etc are received by Jabber/google talk.

sorta kinda a fix. Just goes back to the unknown location. Not a terribly big problem because I think only admins actually view that page but would be nice to have a fix some day :)

Gibt es unter https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=135158 ja schon, allerdings veraltet. Meine Integration basiert auf diese, allerdings ist der Code von mir komplett umgeschrieben und da ich vom diesen Coder leider keine Antwort erhalte, werde ich die Produkt-ID hier noch ?ndern (nat?rlich so, damit es noch updatef?hig bleibt). Eine Englische Version ist sowieso in Planung, w?re aber sch?n, wenn mir jemand diese Arbeit f?r mich abnehmen k?nnte .

Freely translated: The German hack is based upon this one, but completely rewritten and much expanded. An English version of the advanced jabber integration hack is planned, but the help of an English coders would very much be appreciated.

So is anyone up for this?

Upgrade from Patrias Jabber Integration Mod is included and will automatically applied, if you install my Jabber Integration Mod.
