Im curious, is it possible to make it so only admins or mods can give out reputation points? If so, how?

I hope someone answers, because the last 3 threads Ive made in this board have gone reply-less.

vBoptions > user reputation options

set the default reputation to be 0
set register days factor to be 1000000
set post count factor to be 10000000
set reputation point factor to be 10000000

It won't stop the users from giving each other rep clicks, but it will stop them from counting towards their reputation. This then makes it only available to admins, and not to mods as mods follow the same rules as everyone else.

You could remove the button from the postbit/legacy templates

Yeah, I was thinking of that...and I dont want to delete the buttons because I want to use them myself to give out reputation. The only thing about altering their rep stats like that is like you said, they can still access the button and what not. Im wondering if there was a way to make it so that the add/remove reputation button can be seen via usergroup? Maybe it should be a modification request? I dunno.
