Deleting PM's (but not actually deleting them?)

Hi guys,

Is there anyway of having PM's set up so that when a user deletes them, they are not actually deleted from the database - they are just deleted from their inbox, but still stored in the database?

This may sound immoral, but we hear there is some fishy/illegal stuff going on by PM with 2 of our members - but they delete the PM's before we can read them in the inbox - so wondered if we changed our settings in anyway, if this could be possible?
