I have absolutely no knowledge of any of this, but I definitely nee to be able to edit times. I might download that one hack called "advanced options for mods + admins" once I get VB downloaded onto a server, and my site finally gets up and running.

I have no idea what phpmyadmin is, and no idea what table you are reffering to.

Sorry :surprised:

that advanced mod thing your talking about should work for you. phpmyadmin is a admin area to look at your database and run queries. Theres programs and other management scripts out there, but phpmyadmin is free and it works great, usually this is all an admin will need if they have a mysql database.

That would be very painful. To login to phpMyAdmin everytime to change time.

Psionic Vision's Adv. Editing Options for Mods and Admins (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=132291&highlight=editing+options) will work wonders for you.

Post Date/Time (available to administrators only):
It is possible for an administrator to specify a custom date and time for any post.

Its very easy to install. We are using it @ Golpo (http://www.golpo.net)

If you use it, its best to install it before you install any other hack that deals with posting functions.

Regards.

But I really dont know HOW to install it. When I install it, I get this thing where it says 'upload', 'product_psioni_adv edit', and 'readme'. I dont know what to do. I click on the second and I get this screen with a ton of numbers and letters, which I dont know what to do with. Click on the first, and it's basically the same thing.

:tired: I never thought starting my own forum would be such a pain! haha, well any help is appreciated.
