I hope this is the right spot to post this. Been having problems tonight after my partner cleaned out some files from the server. Peterska2 has been helping me and suggested that i move it to over here.

Cheers Kyle, right then lets see what we have got.

I'm guessing that you had the latest version of vBAdvanced installed to start with, or was it the first release for 3.6.x?

Yes, it was the latest version that we had up.

ok, so lets get that reuploaded and take it from there.

Do you have a copy of the zip?

reupload it and import the product setting it so "allow overwrite" is YES

ah, no product file.

once you've uploaded the files, point your browser to youradmincp/vbacmps_install.php?do=uninstall and that will remove everything from it, then delete all the uploaded files again.

ok, its gotta be something else that we've missed.

Can you check the following in your ACP

1. The board URL is correct
2. The site URL is correct
3. If you have any additional products installed which are linked to vBAdvanced
4. If you have any plugins at all in the global_start hook as that is the point where it is falling over

If you want i can give you admin access and server access, probably faster thn me at this point in time.

there we go. You had an offending plugin in the global_start hook as I suspected. It wasn't linked to anything else, so disabling that led to the forums comingback on nice and easy. Everything is set back up and all products are re-enabled for you.

You will want to put an index page on as soon as possible, but apart from that everything is running smoothly as normal again now.
