Description:
This mod allows you to white list email domains from which new members can only register from. Instead of banning all the thousands of free emails (@hotmail.com...etc) out there why not only allow a few ISPs that you trust. Also this mod will allow you to white list TLD like a .edu or .gov so anyone (example student@university.edu) can register at your forum without you having to add every university manually.
Version:
3.6.X
History:
1.0.0
First version.
Installation:
1) Import the product.
2) Go to AdminCP >>Vbulletin Options >> User Registration Options
3) Add your valid email domains

Looks good. I am looking for the opposite. Like you said I want to ban all the thousands of free emails (@hotmail.com...etc) I only have a few that are giving me problems. Thanks!

ryancooper, all the spambots that i notice come from all the unknown/newly registered throw away domains.

Great filter. Thanks.
I've just modified the text displayed when a registration fails as I don't want to disclose to the spammers what filters are in place ;-)

Is there anyway to add a variable to this, so that users who DON'T have a valid email address are still allowed to register, but are added to a more restricted user group?

exce;;ent this will stop those damn advertising people trying to promote stupid things like pharmacy goods or penis enlargments...thank you very much indeed for this hack it'll come in handy for me definatly. *installs*
EDIT: where do i edit to get rid of the text on registration where it tells you what E-mails you can use, as this will be pointless if spammers know what E-mails are accepted. thanks ^_^.
EDIT: Disregard the edit, i found it. this is awsome ^_^
How can i edit the following text:
Note: '@ .tld' means you can only register with an email ending with the same tld. For example, '@ .edu' would accept the email student@university.edu
