Unless I misunderstood what this mod does, I think its a good hack.

On my board, I am using php to protect my downloads, which checks for the referring site before allowing you to download, someone could fake the referer to match my domain name in order to get to the downloads.

being able to change it to something entirely random brings it a step closer to securing my downloads even more. I'm defo gonna give this a go.

but is showes an error in my registration page so i read this one addon :

and the steps are confusing for me, they are asking to replace after 'register.php'
replace this referrerid=X

First i don't know which id # i should put and the second issue is I have two register.php words, don't know which one should i place the reffereid after it

Also - the setting in the ACP says to enter the referrer's name - do I really enter the name or the user ID?
