editing hyperlinks in threads

I want to change the links posted in threads from

http://mysite.com/forums/redirect-to/?redirect=http://externalsite.com

to

http://externalsite.com

but this has to be done for specific forums only. Where should I make the code change.

I am using vBulletin 3.6.4.
