problem installing tar games

I have no problem install zip games, but when i install tar games I get this error...

/home/mindand4/public_html/forum/arcade/tar/arcade/tar is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP

There is no /forum/arcade/tar/arcade/tar folder to CHMOD. It's like it's calling for a folder that does not exist.

i got same problem sees alot of people have i read on and u need to do manual install ..

i tried that 2 but to no luck

You aparently have a missconf somewhere so the tar directory points there.

I have no clue in what file to edit this but easy way around is to create those folders and chmod them 777 ... ;)

That's what I will have to do for now. Hopefully it will be fixed within the next version. :)

My guide:

> upload game in tar folder
> in admincp install game
> if get an error i upload in gamedadata folder > gamedata files. Many times system don't upload in gamedata.

Can you explain more - how did you completely reistall the arcade ?? Total

Exactly what it says. I completely removed the arcade files from FTP, and completely uninstalled teh product, then reinstalled.
