User titles

I would like my title as "master Designer" taken away paul. You made a big ordeal about it and I never asked for it so please be so kind to take this out and revert me back as a "member"

I won't have you throw things in my face for something I never asked for and for something you thought would win you favours.

Shelley, nobody else here has the option of sidestepping the Usertitle system..well, except Banned ones, but they also have a forced Title.

Pray tell, what warrants you to deserve such special treatment?

Well banned will do but make sure it's permanent. I don't really care how you do it but i never asked for it and seeing as paul made such a thing about it and with my opinions being against usertitles that don't mean anything and count for anything here then it should be my choice.

Like I said, Banned will do if it means the riddance of a stupid usertitle that and admin throws in my face. I never asked for it.

All of this because I asked for the attachment limit to be upped to a number that is easier for providing support and I get this stupid usertitle thing shoved down my throat. (topic below this if you didn't notice)

Still doesn't resolve the issue of attachment limits for providing easier support for the community.

Like I said, he speaks to me in such a manner and then closes the topic. You treat a large portion of the community like shit paul and come out with the same jargon time and time again.

It's not even about the amount of attachments is it paul?

I noticed the topic.. the one where you ask for 6 images, then when told it is set to 5, ask for 7?

7 images as imageshack (my cuurent host I used) is becoming slow and a pain. The amount of people requesting modifications even exceeds the 7 but 7 is a number that is bareable.

Just so you know i'm not out to make trouble look at some of the requests in the image database and you'll see the amount of images for different people that I post within one thread.

That said, we both know it's not about the attachments and everytime I make a suggestion it ends like this every time.

Just out of interest, did you ever wonder why you became a 'Master Designer' after the 3.6 upgrade ? I guess not as you never asked about it, but just in case you are interested, it was because I spent some time modifying the calculation code to include releases in the image forums (which it never did before) - mainly because I had noticed your releases and wondered why you had no title. Off topic but I thought you might like to know.

Trolling, as you know in other topics how I felt about usertitles.

At least in the Smilie Sets forum, just tested forum ID number 124, you can upload ten attachments. If uploading from your computer, fill the five boxes, click upload, fill the next five boxes, click upload again. If uploading from a URL, fill the box, click upload, repeat. Once you get to ten, there will be a meassage saying that you hit the max allowed. Hope that helps. :)

edit: Actually, a minmimum of 7 at anyone time would be better which I was trying to get across to paul bfore he stated "people are never happy" would be easier.

For my other query, I'd still like my title reverted back. As an admin paul should know better, maybe grow up and stop holding a grudge.

The only reason I never mentioned anything about the title was because if (at the time) whomever coded the new title structure and put the time into doing it the least I could do was forget it was there.

Now that it was basically thrown in my face (don't try and insult my intellligence paul and say you didn't) I want it removed from my account.

Ah, keep the title. You've created a lot of cool graphics and earned it. :)

Besides, titles are auto set, and I highly doubt that there will be custom changes. Sorry that you feel the introduction to your title was offensive.

As for uploads, it's a max of five per round, but you still get ten total. :)

I don't think the introduction of the title was offensive but they way paul (admin with a grudge) came about bringing it into a topic which wasn't relevant.

We both know his actions was uncalled for and he can't even bring himself into the thread and say anything about why he brought it up. It's about principle, I don't want it, and I'm no better than the next member which makes me having such a title a total hypocrit, something I'm not.

Like I said, I'd rather be wearing the banned title than have this on my account.

Trust me, you'll get sick of me harping on about it and the best solution would be to ban my account (permantely) if my title cannot/willnot get reverted back.

Perhaps think of the user title as just an automated piece of text whereby other people can tell you've released a number of graphics or styles that people found useful. Try not to associate it with another member. Nothing bannable in not liking your title, but a user title doth the person not make. Besides, with your graphcial skills, I bet you could whip up a "should read member" avatar in no time. :D

Without trying to sound redundant, I highly doubt that there will be custom changes made to user titles by request. The user title system currently in place is automated, and it works the same way for all members. I'm not going to ban your account simply because you don't like your user title.
