which needs moving as my current host cant provide enough.
can someone recommend a host that provides (roughly):
100gb of space
10 terabytes of bandwidth.
am willing to pay pretty much most prices, so fire away even if its in the $10's of 000's.
thanks in advance. :D

That's alot of space and bandwidth you're asking for there. I'd recommend a dedicated server and nothing else.

If you're looking for that much bandwith then you should be looking at the big boys, not no-name hosts.
Check out The Planet (http://www.theplanet.com). SoftLayer (http://www.softlayer.com) is also making a pretty good name for itself but hasn't been around as long.
Oh, and if all of that traffic is from your forums then you're probably going to want a few servers, not just one.

There is no way that they can provide that level of resource allocation for the amount they're charging. They're going to be WAY overselling their systems, and as I already said, if you need that much bandwidth then you're going to want dedicated hardware, not a virtual host or VPS.

You'll need a dedicated machine to push that much bandwidth. It'll probably be cheaper for you to get a 100mbps port thats unmetered. The 100gb of storage isn't much of anything and any host should be able to handle that for you.
Check out http://www.SoftLayer.com they have probably the best hardware, and prices around. Depending on the resource usuage you might be better off splitting it up between 3-4 servers for everything.
Ignore anyone who suggested shared or VPS hosting

you do realize that if you got a server with a dedicated 10MBIT port and UNLIMITED data-transfer, considering that you MAX out your 10MBIT pipe 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, for 30 days in a month you will still only get about 3.25TB of throughput?
You are going to easily pay a couple of thousand dollars a month for a dedicated 100MBIT port and unlimited bandwidth if you plan on using that much throughput.

this sounds more of a user wanting a server to hand out accounts to a server that host warez other then a server that he wants to host sites on..hahah

Hey,
hmm 10TB bw thats about 25mbits/s right?? you cant get 25mbit/s caz it will slow things down at peak hours so i think you really need 40mbit/s ok for that amount you easly have to pay 1500$ if you want quality bw ... i know lot of companys ... where do you want the server to be in ?? do you need managed services ??
server4sale.com (their LT and SL reseller with good prices)
exportal.pl (mail them they provide high bw servers i have servers with them ... 5TB bw , Dual Xeon , 4GB Ram . (2) 250GB Sata , 100mb/s , for 230$ you cant get it for this price as i am reseller but you can get it for about 500-550$ !!!)
Good luck man!
