I'm trying to stop advertisement bots from registering on my forum. I have the image verification up and going, but it doesn't appear to stop them. Every day I need to clean up after them (they advertise items & porn), and it's getting sort of old. Is there any tips on how to block them? Something I'm missing? I've been banning the IP, email, and user.. but more and more show up anyhow.
I'm using VB3.5.2 at the moment.

Hmm.. would I need to upgrade my boards in order to add that hack? I'm using 3.5.2 at the moment.

Wow sounds like a tough problem. I've never came across that problem yet, but i'll make a mental note of what you guys recommend just incase.

So far, this has been a good fix for me.

eta: it doesn't stop them from registering but it certainly stops them from getting their message to my members.

I've been having this problem, too. Thank you very much for the suggestion!
