Recently opened up a new site (as in tonight). I highly doubt any of you guys would join, so I'm just looking for comments on the design of the skins and any improvements you can see that should be made.
http://audiosubculture.com
Three styles: Cool Blue, White Lime, and Dark Alliance.

I might have misunderstood you, but isn't it doing what you suggested right now?

When i go to your main .com and click on the header image, it take's me to your forum, but when i click on the one in the forums, instead of taking me back to the main page, it refresh's back to the forums.....

Oh, sadly I don't know how to write a if conditional to change this, plus we have links back and forth in the navbar and the menus.

If you go into your admincp, then down to styles and templates.......once you have that open, go to what ever your style is, and click the << >> and scroll down to header and open it: <!-- logo -->
<a name="top"></a>
<table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
<tr>
<td align="center"><a href="http://audiosubculture.com"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
<td align="$stylevar[right]">
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- /logo -->should look like this, and the herf is the redirect for the image. So when someone now click's on the image, they will be taken back to the main page of your site.......

Not a bad start, I think your header has alot of wasted space in it, Also think you could better space out your navbar so that you don't have just 2 links on the top part of it. Also I noticed you don't have a link to your forum in your navbar. That is the first place I looked for it, and didn't find it, found it in the side navbar later. May be confusing to people that frequent forums. Also noticed that you have alot of forums for a new site. I would recommend cutting them down to make your forum look more active until a later date when you could seperate them out. Overall though, I think it looks nice and could be better with a little refinement.

What forums would you suggest cutting out?

One problem I see. Your main forum (Audio Subculture) appears below your Announcements, Suggestions, Off Topic (The Square) stuff. Meaning people will have to pass that stuff everytime to get to what they really came for.
Also in The Square I think there are too many forums. Birthdays, Running with Scissors, Welcome....couldn't these all just be in one lounge? I think that too many forums is a bad thing especially when starting up.
Good luck!
