Description:
This plugin allows you to redirect a usergroup or groups to a specific page, thread or post, after a recurring length of time you select.
Through the control panel, you can set the length of time to give them the reminder, the usergroups, the page that it redirects to, and the message.
Notes:
This product has been updated for use with vB 3.6.x.
Support/Updates:
Please click Mark as Installed for support and so that you will be notified instantly upon any major updates.

What's the full list of time limits that will work? Does it work with hours, minutes, days aswell as weeks and months?

all time formats you could think of; etc. seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, etc.

What I would like to see is an option that is Dependant on use, such as number of sessions, posts, etc.

I would like this to check the vb paypal donations (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=91567&highlight=paypal+donations) and if a member has already donated in that month it will not show for them?
How does this sound?

i made on user group named Donators . so in this hack i dont use their id gorup in options .
i hope it helps u if Coder can not make this option :)

may i suggest using the vB Promotion system for the palcement of your users into various usergroups that match your particular forum criteria and then having this hack only affect the desired usergroup.

it sounds great, but that hack was abandoned a long time ago. i even gave up trying to help others with it. from what i understand bill is working on updating his hack to update to include the ability to move user between usergroups. once his is done, there won't be any need for me to modify this as you can already set which usergroups this applies to.

it's a default feature within vB... AdminCP >> Usergroup >> Promotions. once you have that setup to move the appropriate users to whichever usergroup, you can then have this hack apply only to whichever other usergroup you want. ;)

Got a problem with this hack and I can't figure out why it's doing this.
I don't know if this is just happening though to my Guests or registered members....
The hack keeps bouncing the user to the reminder page. If the user clicks on the "Click Here To Continue" link....it brings up my paypal donations hack. If the user doesn't want to donate....he clicks on any other link like the header graphic, but then it brings back up the redirect hack to bring them back.

Here's my settings within the hack:
Activate Timed Redirect: Yes
Length of Time before Redirect - TIME_LIMIT: 1 month
Usergroups to Redirect: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
Page to Redirect to: billspaypal.php?
Clear Reminder on Redirect: Yes
Any thoughts on this?

it should only be happening to your Guests as there's no DB log for Guests. if it did, then the first Guest would trigger the count which would tell the "reminder" not to appear again, and then every other Guest that goes to your site would not get the "reminder". hope that makes some sense.

But that's not happening. I logged out myself and visited my site as a Guest and I can't get past the timed redirect hack that keeps bringing to my PayPal Donations page.
What is the UserGroup ID for Guests or do they have one?

correct... that's what i was trying to explain should happen above. Guests should not be able to bypass that screen as there is no log generated for Guests (Unregistered / Not Logged In). if this is happening for another usergroup, i will need more info to troubleshoot.
What is the UserGroup ID for Guests or do they have one?
vB default for Guests (Unregistered / Not Logged In) is Usergroup 1.

i would suggest to remove usergroup 0 also, as there's no reference for that by default.
