Tournament Bracket Issues

Hello,

I had upgraded from 2.5.6 to 2.5.7 a few weeks ago but still have an issue with the tournaments. Often I need to delete tournaments because the winner is promoted to the wrong side of the bracket. I have included a screen shot. Is there anything that I can to to reduce the frequency of or eliminate this issue?

it happened to me as well. I corrected it in the database. The tables you are looking for are tournament_players and tournament_players_status thou its pretty hard to figure it out. I'll post some mroe consise instructions once i'm sure i know what i'm doing :p

if you are fairly good at figuring out whats going on in databases you may be able to do it yourself thou

Same issue for my forum too. Just upgraded to 2.5.8+ and within 1 hour I'm getting PM's from all the players moaning about broken tournies.

This is normal behaviour, no need to delete the tournament. Just after billyb1969 and IrishRose22 played their match and the second row is full, the script can sort everything correct, JOKERSWILD64 then will move to the right automatically.

Changes in DB are not really necessary as the script sorts the stuff itself "on the fly" ;)
