Cut off shout box user?

Recently a user on my site used vile threatening shouts.

A super mod banned the user, but the user was able to keep on "shouting". He couldn't be cut off even though he was banned.

How can I cut off a shout user if this ever happens again?

You should be able to go inside your admin cp, vbulletin option's, and vbshout options.......then put the user's id number in there and click save.

Not sure if mod's have this function available to them via the modcp, but you as an admin can ban the heck out of em.
