I can't seem to get the VB.org search funtion to work... its just not returning any results...

I remember seeing a hack around here that would allow super moderators to IP ban. I can't seem to find it anywhere now, wonder if someone could help?

Ip banning is a default option in vB. No hack needed.

ACP > vB Options > Banned IP Addresses > add the IP there.

They could able to do it, if you allow them to.

No, the ability to allow Supermods to IP Ban isn't default. They can ban users, but not their actual IP address.
