Another Christmas style. Peaceful, serene in blue with snowflakes and a white Christmas tree. Notice the white Dove of Peace to the left of the tree.

Instructions for Installation
Download the attached Zip file, and unzip to your computer.
Upload the entire cmas folder into your forum/images directory, so that your path is images/cmas
Import the xml file by going to your ACP --> styles and templates --> download/upload styles --> browse --> select the xml file where you have it save on your computer --> importI've included the blank button psd's, and a blank header in jpg format.
The snowfall javascript is also attached. There are instructions in that zip file for installing it.

Please remember to leave my copyright and link intact in the footer.

however when I open the style after the import..in my vb....the icons are all red x'ed?

what did I do wrong? or are there more steps?

thanks m8 but one of our admin has sorted it :)

not spoke to him yet but it looks like it might have been the image paths as its been installed in our test forum and the path is not the normal www/forum/images/cmas path.

thanks and sorry im greenSince I don't know what kind of errors you got, I have no idea. Most likely there is a hack/modification causing the errors, as this particular theme is mostly css-based. If you want it validated, you'll have to go through it and do it yourself. Sorry.

Here's how you do that: go to your Admin CP>vBulletin Options>Style and Language Settings>Default Style>Choose Christmas theme from drop-down menu and save! Easy as pie!:)

Which vbulletin version are you using? Cuz I've got the zip from before the update, if you'd like to try that.

Peggy, I have a user inquiring into centering the header image, he says its showing left-justified with his monitor set to a high-res setting. I didn't install the newest update, I have an older one; would it be centered with the new one? Or is there a way to center it with the older one? I hate updating a skin if I don't have to because there are so many individual things I have to change every time I install or overwrite a skin. :P

If you want it centered, go into your header template and change the two instances of left to center, and save.

I've sussed out in the code how to alter the colour of the flakes to show against a white forum background, just trying to work out which bit is the frequency of snow and snow character/size.
