Sorry, don't mean to be dramatic, but I have spent the past six hours trying so coax someone to help me out here. Happy to pay via PayPal as I explained. One person I PM'd told me I have installed too may mods (I don't think so); the other didn't get back to me. When I asked the question in this forum "How do I modify a thread" question someone was kind enough to tell me to use the edit button.

Problem is it doesn't work. It changes the header of the message but not the overall topic as viewed by the public.

Please can someone help me out here. As I said, I'll pop you a donation/payment/whatever ya want via PayPal.

I would like to change the name to "Kanga is Gone" as I did in the thread, which is what I was told I could do.

Try Pm'ing the admin or a moderator? clicking edit and going into advanced edit, you should see a spot that says title and you can edit it there, if you can not, you do not have permissions to change it and you need to get a mod to do it for you.

Open the thread.
Click the dropdown menu marked with the text "Thread Tools" on the top of the thread, select "Edit Thread". Change the title and submit.
