I was hoping someone might know if the mods listed below for Googlemap HSE could be done by an average programmer ... I have put in a service request and have received quotes from $95 to $2500! I need advice if it can be done at a realistic price before I hire anyone.
What I want to do ...
1. After adding an element Googlemap HSE redirects back to the main map. I want the redirect page to be a link choice of ...
a. Back to Main Map
b. Add Elements (preferably at same place and zoom as when submitting the marker)
c. Forums
2. Users can't edit their own markers - this must be changed.
3. When Admin edits the markers the Admin user name comes up on the marker - this is wrong and must be fixed.
4. It would be good to be able to give marker-editing permission to a member user group.
5. MOST IMPORTANT: I need a way for users to input and catalogue markers with country and state fields so the markers can be easily filtered when there is a lot of them. eg if someone only wants to see boat ramp markers in Texas, USA. I think dropdown menus in the Add Element marker box for countries and states plus corresponding filter pulldowns on the Main Map and List Elements pages would be the way to do this. I figure this will solve the problem of the map being clogged with markers and taking ages to download.
Can anyone give me advice if this can be done? Know someone who can do it for a reasonable fee?
