Upgrading to 2.5.7

Can someone please explain how i do the upgrade to 2.5.7 simply please, as i am quite new still.

I'm using VBulletin 3.5.4 and want upgrade IBProarcade v2.5.6+

Not sure which PHP files need replacing? and how is this done via ftp or the cp?

Every *.php file needs to be re-uploaded via FTP. Then import the product again from ACP.

But I'm not sure if you should upgrade.. There are few bugs in 2.5.7+ that needs to be addressed first.

Really only wanted to block the cheats and as i understand it the update does that doesnt it?

Well I guess it does. ;) But there are other problems, like that special character problem.
