Any mods to get RSS feeds to show more than one line?

It really depends on the feed. Some RSS2 feeds will let you use {rss:content:encoded} instead of {rss:description} which will then show the full item, but the only way to know what you can use is to get the rss feed open in a web browser and look at it and see if it displays the full content anywhere. If it does then you can use the appropriate tags to display it, otherwise it's just description.

So if {rss:content:encoded} will allow the whole article to be posted, does anyone have a place that will support this?
This would be great to have the whole thing, it seems to short having only one-two lines.
Also would {rss:content:encoded} mean pics and the content inside the rss feed be shown in the thread?
Thanks :)

basically have a look at the rss feed. if it has content encoded (it has to be an RSS2 feed) then you can use it, otherwise you are stuck with just the descriptions.
and yes, it does show links, and pics in the thread

Then when feeding our forum from external feeds is being dependent of that originating source.
But how come can't we restrict our own content when we are feeding RSS from our own forum to other forums or so?
Actually, there is nothing to setup or trim the content of our RSS Feeds. We don't have any control on that. New browsers and Feed readers can show thw whole content of first posts.
This is just annoying and it should be included in vBulletin itself.
We have some settings for incoming feeds but nothing for outgoing, just nothing!!
My 2 cents..

What happens if you use {rss:content:encoded} and the site you are getting the RSS feed from doesn't supprt {rss:content:encoded}?
